Nora has been passionate about psychology and mental health for over 20 years. She has actively pursued education and training in various parts of the world. Through this pursuit, Nora is a counseling psychotherapist licensed in both California, USA and in Dubai, UAE. With a transpersonal and somatic psychotherapy background, Nora recognizes the importance of the mind-body connection, and integrates different modalities to bring a unique treatment approach to her clients. She is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and an Emotional Freedom Techniques provider.

A fundamental belief in the work is that there is an innate, natural ability towards wellbeing in each and every individual. And, just as a doctor uses a cast to protect and support a broken bone as the bone mends itself, a psychotherapist can provide the environment and tools to protect and support each individual’s inherent system in its intelligent healing & growth. Nora’s approach is informed by understandings of the neuroscience of stress, trauma & resilience, and the power of expressive modalities.  She provides psychotherapy & counseling services to adults (age 25+), is a topic expert speaker, and facilitates workshops in different locations in the Middle East and California.
